The Fresh Market is a specialty grocery retailer focused on providing high-quality products in a unique and inviting atmosphere.  Our stores in Nags Head features bountiful produce, fresh meat and seafood, European Delicatessen, imported cheeses, beer and wine, gourmet coffees, and delicious baked goods.

On a crisp North Carolina spring day, back in 1982, a new kind of grocery store was created. Our founders took their life savings and put it all into their dream: a fresh take on grocery shopping. They wanted to bring back the old-world charm of the local market and on March 5, they opened The Fresh Market for business.
